At the Cañaverales International School, we understand that the admission process is a significant stage not just for the children who wish to enter the School, but for all the other family members. This is why we have an accompaniment program tailored for each family, which aims to guide parents in the process of choosing the educational proposal that meets the schooling expectations they have for their children.

Admission Appraisal
For processes of children aspiring to enter Preschool, we have a multidisciplinary team which includes teachers, psychologists, occupational therapist and a speech therapist, responsible for assessing their development at the adaptive, emotional, cognitive, language and motor levels. For the process of admission to Primary and Middle & High School we conduct academic and psychological appraisals to determine the entrance to the School.

In the case of applications for admission for foreign students, the process begins only for those parents and/or guardians who submit photocopies of the passport and the visa (in the case of the student, it must be a student visa, with the purpose of verifying its validity and coverage for the school year which the student wishes to enter. Official academic transcripts of foreign schools must be apostilled in the country of issue and translated into Spanish by a certified translator; they can be either original or copied.

To pay for the Registration via debit or credit card you may approach our premises. Should you wish to pay in cash, you must do it directly through the Banco de Occidente checking account No. 07300316-2 in the name of Colegio Internacional Los Cañaverales and send a copy of the voucher to admisiones@canaverales.edu.co
Note: starting on 2nd grade, there are restrictions for entry of students who do not come from bilingual schools. This is due to the level of bilingualism developed by our students at this level. In case of complying with this requirement, academic reports from the previous school must be submitted to determine the commencement of the admission process.
